Ocean City 2011

We spent a short week at Ocean City the first week of June (before any of the crowds were there). It was fantastic! No crowds, perfect weather, fun times with the family (Jim's brother and family, sister and family, mother and other sister all came along).

Folks said the water was cold, but for a pregnant woman and two blissful boys and one blissful husband...it was perfect.

This was Kristen's first authentic East Coast beach vacation complete with boardwalk, taffy, seashells, mini-golf. She's sold on the idea! She brought a book to read every day but didn't even manage to get past page one because it was much more fun to simply watch Jack and Thomas play keepaway with the waves. They often employed superhero moves, karate kicks, and manic laughter as they attempted to stay out of the oncoming waves. Blissful.
