Highlights from Texas

Jack, the frequent flyer, made another trip to TX accompanied by Kristen and joined later by Jim.

Jack always seems to have a lot of "firsts" in Texas...this trip witnessed his first words, first haircut, first snapping (no kidding), first "so big", and first thanksgiving dinner melt down.

At the duck pond...chasing pigeons. He mostly wanted to get into the pond (he loves water). He did say his first word (other than mama and dada) DUCK...directed to the pigeons... (not caught on video, sorry).

Kristen's parents have a dog, and Jack observed the family practice of snapping for the dog for a few days, and then joined in...he doesn't actually make the snapping noise, but he sure rubs his first three little fingers together with a gallant effort! He also started to say "woof" (or a version of that).

First Haircut. Jack found it necessary to have his own comb. Thanks to Melanie for the royal treatment and a great cut!
